Summary The secretary is responsible for performing clerical duties using specific knowledge of the program and program procedures. Duties may include scheduling appointments, billing clients, and compiling and recording client charts, responsibilities for client records, reports, and correspondence.

Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Essential Functions:

Screen incoming telephone calls and direct to appropriate staff; record and transmit messages as needed. Announce clients and visitors. Schedule and confirm client appointments. Interview clients to complete documents, case histories, or forms, such as intake or insurance forms. Responsible for fees, deposits, and reconciliations Prepare and maintain client records and correspondence files (i.e.,reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories and medical records. Perform various administrative functions, such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalency. Bilingual in one or more of the following: Spanish 2 years related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel Superior typing skills (60 -70 wpm).
