OFFICE ASSISTANT
New Paltz Living New Paltz, NY 12561 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to enthusiastically join us. You will play a crucial role in supporting daily office operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document management. Assist with scheduling and managing calendars for tenant needs. Provide tenant support by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Support administrative staff with various projects and tasks as assigned. Utilize computer literacy skills to operate office software and tools effectively. Experience Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is necessary. Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. QuickBooks, MailChimp, or similar software. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with data entry processes and attention to detail is essential. Experience in customer support or personal assistant roles is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
