Administrative Assistant Position Type:

Long-term, temporary (1+ years)

Location:
New Rochelle, NY Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:

Completes mandatory Federal reports, performs data entry, and manages tasks required for Federal reimbursement and to ensure compliance with Federal nursing home performance measures related to surveillance activities. Creates and maintains files in accordance with Federal and New York State requirements. Enters survey data into thee electronic Federal reporting system. Prepares survey letters to providers and tracks survey event status in the Federal system. Processes FOIL requests, including identifying, retrieving, and copying pertinent documents, and drafting and submitting letters to the office. Processes and logs mail, faxes, and scanned documents. Organizes, binds, files, and purges survey documents based on established policies and procedures. Creates electronic survey shells and prepares paper survey document packets. Generates Certificate of Need (CON) and project reports and maintains related data. Maintains the survey tracking log. Ensures adequate office supplies for administrative and survey staff. Provides coverage at the main reception desk. Conducts call downs to providers, gathers information, and reports findings as requested.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience Candidate should have a high level of competence using Microsoft Office software (Excel and Word, Outlook); Strong written and verbal communications skills; Experience working for a nursing program in preferred – familiarity with health care facility surveillance and complaint incidents and investigation correspondence and reporting Submit your resume today for consideration!
