Job Description
Human Resource Administrative Assistant 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 131 Pleasant Drive, Aliquippa, PA 15001 Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resource Assistant will provide administrative support to BCRC and the Human Resource department. This is an important role in the agency as it is responsible for creating and maintaining employee files to ensure accuracy and compliance. In this role, you will provide support to the daily operation of the HR department supporting the HR Director and two HR Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Human Resource Administrative Assistant position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. 1-2 years related experience along with associate degree preferred. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Access database systems. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage situations with professionalism and diplomacy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

OVERVIEW OF JOB DUTIES
Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource, electronic and paper files, records, and documentation. This includes updating and maintaining the HR Employee Database and running various reports as required. Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Assist HR Specialist in preparing for new employee orientations including running clearances, preparing onboarding paperwork, and employee handbooks. Assist with Payroll using ADP time stamping system: monitoring employee data; verifying all employee timecards for accuracy/approval; monitoring PTO balances; generating reports as needed. Process, track and ensure compliance for employee criminal background checks and other clearances as required by the state. Ensures are employee files are in order for various audits and inspections. Support and monitor Employee Wellness Program and initiatives. Collects and tracks monthly vehicle information for all BCRC employees. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, wellness events, etc. Administer clerical testing to applicants as needed. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all human resource files and records.
