Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform general clerical duties as directed by supervisor including answering phones, word processing, making appointments, ordering supplies, requisitions, assisting the main office personnel, etc. Book rooms for meetings and events, as necessary, coordinating with the maintenance/facilities department as well as related staff. Supervise students assigned to the ISS room, ensuring that they are engaged in academic or behavior-related tasks. Maintain a safe, respectful, and focused environment while supporting students in following school rules. Monitor student’s behavior and report any violations or concerns to the appropriate administrator. Prepare and maintain accurate records of students and disciplinary actions, including incidents, resolutions, and any necessary follow-up. Ensure all necessary documentation is compiled, processed, and organized in accordance with school policies and procedures. Assist students in contacting and/or establishing an appointment with an appropriate professional staff member. Assume other duties as directed by supervisor or designee.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus. Experience in a school or educational environment is beneficial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, TEAMS, Outlook, etc.). Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in a school setting. Knowledge of school policies and procedures is an advantage.
