DESCRIPTION OF

WORKThe Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will provide administrative and clerical support to the Clinical Services Manager and Assistant Clinical Services Manager (DON/ADON) in a veterans’ extended care facility. Duties include scheduling all outside appointments for both personal care and nursing home residents of the Southeastern Veterans Center.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.

Work hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework:

You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Salary:

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes).You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orGraduation from high school; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
