Key:
  • = Full TimePart Time Regular Staff Only As a Food Services Systems Coordinator, you will carry out our Mission of Love respective to the role by assisting department directors in the execution of his/her responsibilities and provide comprehensive and diversified administrative support services in a professional and organized manner.

You will assist residents in reaching their highest potential in physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being via decisions and actions. You will perform computer functions in Food Services by managing the details of menu flow within the food services department to support the central kitchen production, and specifically related to healthcare and personal care menus. You will take corrective action for anomalies, and communicate pertinent details to team members. You will effectively communicate computerized information, decisions, and resolutions with leadership team members within the department. Our Food Services Systems Coorindator is responsible for the following: Maintains department files in an accurate and efficient manner . This includes developing and proof-reading production menus/production worksheets and resident menus, and seeking solutions to discrepancies when found. Prepares and distributes correspondence, compiles reports, creates forms, and completes other documentation as needed and directed. Issues, prepares, and processes material requests, purchase orders and invoices as needed in a timely and accurate manner. Maintains records of purchases. Orders, maintains, and monitors use of supplies. Processes invoices and accounts payable processes as directed for the healthcare center food services departments. Deposits and makes bank runs for cash deposits and needs from the Village Caf? and Personal Care guest dining purchases. Attends meetings (i.e. dining task force, production meetings), updates and distributes meeting notes, and prepares written reports as needed and directed. Supports special projects and programs related to enhancing the quality of services. Manages flow of menu information with functions that include building menus and copying menus within the software for healthcare, personal care, Village Caf?, and to a lesser extent retirement living restaurants. Establishes and communicates menu-related deadlines. Assists in researching and documenting pertinent information on purchased food items as relates to allergies and ingredients. Initiates customer-friendly terminology for published food item names for Web based menus and Nutrition Facts Panel. Translates resident care information generated in clinical software to food services software. This includes diet orders, allergies, and adaptive equipment needs.

What You Have:

High School graduate or equivalent required. Three years of related experience preferred. Proficient knowledge in diverse software systems. Effective written and oral communication, and organizational skills required. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
