Dennison Street, Swoyersville, PA 18704 Merut Construction is a woman-owned WBENC-certified civil contractor, providing hydro-vac & air-knife excavation, foundation work, rebar installation, drilling of piers, E&S controls, site restoration, and mechanical excavation services to the Utility market. Administrative Specialists are essential members of the Administrative Department, providing support across various functions, including office organization, supply management, clerical tasks, marketing assistance, communication system oversight, and employee apparel distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform clerical tasks, including answering phones, checking mail, and handling communications. Collect, file, store, and distribute electronic and physical documents as needed. Organize and maintain office records and documentation systems. Assist in managing marketing tasks and communication systems. Ensure office supplies are replenished and distributed efficiently. Support company functions, meetings, and administrative coordination efforts.

General Responsibilities:

Follow document management procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards. Promote a safe, organized, and efficient work culture focused on process improvement. Ensure timely completion of assigned administrative tasks with proper documentation. Reports HR, safety, environmental, or operational concerns immediately.

Qualifications & Experience:

Associate’s degree in business administration or related field OR two (2) years of equivalent industry experience required. Ability to provide references upon request.

Required Skills:

Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust to a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

Physical & Work Requirements:

Ability to work at a desk and computer station during shifts. Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary.
