Assistant Director, Supported Independent Living Program Full Time, Monday through Friday (standard business hours with On Call rotation) Competitive salary, Hybrid position The Assistant Director of Supported Independent Living provides direct oversight of the daily operation with the support of the Director and direct reports which requires established communication and organizational skills. The individuals supported in this program have a primary intellectual disabilities diagnosis and often have additional needs around mental health, behavioral supports, sexuality, autism spectrum differences and others. The Assistant Director works closely with the Director of Supported Independent Living to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the program as well as supporting a structure that drives continuous quality improvement and overall program growth. As our Assistant Director, you will Work closely with the Director of Supported Independent Living to coordinate and supervise daily operations Participate in the development and implementation of data, new programs, initiatives, policies and technologies Provide oversight of department referral management process for referrals, Administering referral assessments including in person and virtual interviews with potential administrators to assess program fit or readiness status Assist teams with implementation of individual program planning through use of Person Centered tools including the ISP (Individual Support Plan) and Charting the Life Course Lead the work of others in practical and creative ways through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style and establish a culture that is based upon positive collaboration and employee engagement Teach, model, and lead Community Connection Supervisors in the most effective approaches to achieve and maintain desired competencies Monitoring utilization of authorized services and supports; following up with discrepancies with billing as required; reviewing and approving credit card reconciliations and ensuring integrity in card usage and compliance with KenCrest financial policies and procedures Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in the human services profession or Social Work 5 years of experience in human services or social work, primarily working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism 3 years minimum supervisory experience Clinical skills and experience in working with individuals with interpersonal challenges, crisis management, and trauma informed care Valid driver’s license Communication – Ability to effectively problem solve, make decisions and communicate thoughts, expectations and ideas Ability to work independently, as required, and to work proactively within a team Computer literacy including MS Word, Excel and use of databases IND123 KenCrest is an equal opportunity at will employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of age, race, religion, color, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or national origin.
