Position Summary The Administrative Assistant II provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at La Salle University. This position serves as a key liaison between faculty, students, and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting the academic and clinical components of the program.
Key responsibilities include coordinating schedules, maintaining program records, supporting accreditation and compliance documentation, managing student records and communication, and assisting with event planning and budget tracking. The Administrative Assistant II works closely with the Program Director and faculty to uphold the program’s standards of excellence and ensure efficient program delivery.
This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced academic environment.
Essential Duties The Administrative Assistant performs administrative duties relevant to the administration of the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Receive phone calls for the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program; responds to general inquiries and refer messages as appropriate.
Organize and maintain Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program applicants’ files in coordination with the Office of Admissions.
Assist with roster and registration-related activities of Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program students and communicate with registrar’s office as needed.
Maintain Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program student files. Maintain Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program course materials (syllabi, evaluations, clinical forms, etc.)
Manage mailings and duplication for the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Assist with minutes for committees specifically related to the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program (curriculum, admissions, scholarship).
Assist with program evaluation for the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program (surveys).
Assist with preparation of grants, if applicable, for the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program which includes collection of student data, follow up with students, and communication with the Grants and Financial Aid Office.
Assist with collecting data for accreditation reports.
Assist with student registration for state certification as a CRNA. Assist with planning the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program functions such as the annual Educational Session and Distinguished Lecture Maintain Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program promotional materials.
Manage calendar for Program Director and Assistant Program Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Prepare documents and reports specific to the Post BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program Oversee special projects as assigned.
Prepare and maintain schedules for SRNAs as directed by the Program Director- Nurse Anesthesia Program Collect and organize compliance information for The Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) Collect and organize data applicable to accreditation duties and standards
Secondary Responsibilities Order office supplies and maintain general office area.
Obtain and distribute mail and assist with duplication requests as needed.
Submit content revisions for the website to University Communications as needed.
Assist with other duties as identified by the Program Director- Nurse Anesthesia Program

Required Qualifications High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
A minimum of 3 years of administrative and clerical experience.
Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, survey software and internet searching.
High comfort level in using technology to optimize workflow and processes.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing work flow.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous experience using Ellucian Banner systems.
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours Light lifting, carries mail, books, and packages received
Ability to move around campus
May occasionally be required to work outside of typical hours for special programs and events
