The Washington County District Attorney’s office is seeking to hire a full-time Prosecution Coordinator. The Prosecution Coordinator will serve as a support person to the attorneys and detectives working directly in the Specialized Victim Investigation and Prosecution Unit (SVIP Unit) and as an outreach liaison between the Unit and members of the Law Enforcement, Victim Services, Child Protection and Educational Communities. In addition, as serving as a liaison with core persons and agencies involved in the investigation, prosecution and response to these specific crimes, the Prosecution Coordinator will serve as a prosecution-based point of contact to victims of domestic violence, sexual violence and /or stalking. In consideration of the support duties, the Prosecution Coordinator will aid with clerical, recordkeeping and organizational tasks. Incumbent must possess an Associate’s degree or specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of two (2) years of college in criminal justice or related field.
