This position is located at the 1135 Gregg Hwy, Aiken, SC 29801Job Purpose Under general supervision, performs receptionist and administrative duties independently. Uses knowledge of operation and general office procedures to make independent decisions concerning processing of information and customer relations.

Job Functions Monitors the schedules of assigned clinical/medical staff to ensure maximum efficiency of patient care hours. Consistently backfills any cancelled appointments.

Collects payments from patients.

Ensures compliance with DOFS policies and procedures.

Greets patients upon arrival and is responsive to their needs.

Provides exceptional customer service when answering the phone.

Update demographic and financial information on patients through check in process.

Supports the system that is in place to meet established access requirements for patients.

Completes clinical service notes and all documentation in a timely manner that meets Federal/State/QA/CARP standards.

Participates in supervision, trainings, and agency meetings and complies with Corporate Compliance and Risk Management policy and plan.

Participates in Cultural Affairs trainings and demonstrates effective use of social and interpersonal knowledge and skills.

Performs other duties as needed

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
State Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma. Agency (Facility)

Preferences:

A high school diploma and two years of clerical experience; or an Assoicate degree in secretarial science or other related field; or three years of clerical experience.
