Job Description Marina Administrative Assistant Job Summary:
The Marina Administrative Position at Dataw Island Club, Inc. requires performing a range of administrative duties while providing an elevated level of service to Marina customers. The role involves assisting with boat rates, slip assignments, storage inventory, billing coordination, and customer requests.
Responsibilities:
Assist customers with boat rates and availability. Assign boat slip spaces. Provide up-to-date storage inventory. Oversee daily deposits. Coordinate billing and maintain contracts. Adheres to service standards. Enters data and calculates charges for billing purposes. Receives requests by phone, email, or in-person for Marina services (i.e., put boats in water, repairs, fuel, etc.) and promptly contacts dockhand to complete. Learns to operate Marina hoist by attending all training. Responds to all correspondence (email, mail, phone messages) Performs all administrative duties as needed to ensure an elevated level of service.
Requirements:
Strong bookkeeping and accounting abilities. Proficient in computer literacy with a solid grasp of office software applications. Experienced in data entry and maintaining well-organized filing systems. Possesses strong proofreading skills to guarantee high-quality documentation. Excellent at calendar management to coordinate schedules efficiently. Prior experience in customer support or clerical positions is a plus. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team. Highly attentive to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Comfortable working outdoors and around the water.
