$120K-$140K + benefits Our client, a high-performing single mother and CEO, is seeking a warm, intelligent, and highly capable Family Assistant to support the daily operations of her dynamic household. This role is based in Johns Island, SC, and centers around the care and coordination of her two school-aged daughters (ages 9 and 12), while also managing household logistics, errands, and family scheduling. The family resides in a 5,000 sq. ft. waterfront primary residence, built in 2003. The ideal candidate should have experience with oceanfront property maintenance and a clear understanding of hurricane preparedness procedures, including securing outdoor areas and managing relevant vendors. While there are no watercraft on site, the home’s coastal location requires a candidate who is proactive, organized, and attentive to seasonal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the family calendar, including appointments, school events, and extracurricular activities Manage and coordinate service providers and supervising on-site work The home is staffed – manage scchedules for housekeeping and other part-time staff Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns, and more Handle inventory management, household supply restocking, and vendor communication Provide school drop-offs, pickups, and transportation for children’s activities. Must be able to smim. Offer light household support, basic pet care (one dog), and occasional overnight assistance as needed Support simple meal prep (e.g., thawing ingredients, picking up prepared meals, making healthy snacks if confident in the kitchen) Assist with hurricane preparedness procedures and ensure the home is always guest- and weather-ready Understand the logistics of maintaing an ocean front residence

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend support as needed Flexible split-shift option: 2 hours in the morning and approximately 6 hours in the afternoon Total of 40-50 hours per week

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed) Prior experience working with school-aged children in a private home setting Excellent organizational and communication skills Tech-savvy with the ability to manage digital calendars, task lists, and vendor platforms Professional, discreet, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with oceanfront property care and storm preparation protocols Open to both local and relocating candidates. The family would consider a couple. Must have a clear command of English, have a clean DL, clean background and three recent outstanding references

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary range: $120,000-$140,000 , commensurate with experience Generous PTO including sick, vacation, personal, and holidays Monthly health and wellness stipend provided
