This role will provide support to departments requesting & fulfilling purchase orders, accepting & fulfilling work orders and communicating directly with customers. Role and Responsibilities Responsible for purchase order coordination and management, including analyzing and inputting data, solving problems, and collaborating with various departments to ensure order details are communicated promptly and accurately Support company assigned purchasers by efficiently compiling necessary purchase information, ensuring accurate and prompt purchase order issuance to vendors. Communicate with company leadership regarding purchase order issues. Maintain purchase orders system(s). Capture work order information and ensure accuracy by communicating with area supervisor and/or customer. Build work order in the work order system(s). Maintain status of all existing work orders and update work orders as needed. Ensure all worker’s work order tickets are completed daily. Create and process invoices upon completion of work order. Provide additional support as needed. Qualifications and Education Requirements 3 or more years’ experience in an administrative, work order, or purchase order role. Experience in data entry, MS Office and knowledge of accounting software. Ability to accurately perform data entry. Must be able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment and multitask between numerous tasks. Must meet SBCC’s employment standards with regards to background checks. Educational Requirements Associates Degree- Business or similar field (preferred).
