This position will oversee individual projects as needed. Support daily operations by performing administrative tasks and ensuring high quality customer service department members and other staff. This candidate should be multifunctional and have the ability to multi-task, have strong communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, strong customer service and conflict resolution skills, and strong trouble shooting skills.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Achieve Results 1. Provide administrative assistance to ensure daily duties are carried out and business efficiency is maintained. 2. Provide assistance and clerical support for assigned department. Operational Excellence 3. Ensure and uphold the confidentially requirements of all records and manage all daily task and activities consistent with HIPAA, state and federal laws and regulations, as well as the organizations policies and regulations regarding confidentiality and security. Relationships 4. Develop and ensure effective, positive relationships within and among all the staff, as well as with patients, vendors, contractors, and related resources. Professionalism 5. Ensure all actions, job performance, personal conduct and communications represent the organization in a highly professional manner at all times. 6. PRIMARY TASKS & DUTIES 1.
Works directly with department members to oversee all administrative duties within the department. 2. Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of the department manager/supervisor. 3. Performs departmental audits, as needed. 4. Prepare correspondence and process all mail received. 5. Assist with creating reports and documents as needed for department. 6. Maintain and organize administrative files and ensure all filing is completed in a timely manner and in compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards (as applicable). 7. Encourage cohesive work environment for all staff. 8. Answer telephone, schedule meetings, respond to inquiries and relay information appropriately and timely. 9. Attend meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes (as required) 10. Any additional tasks or projects as assigned by department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree strongly preferred. Professional 2+ year’s office assistant or administrative assistant experience. Communication, customer service or working with the general public, preferably in a medical care or pharmacy facility. Excellent MS Office knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills Discretion and confidentiality Knowledge of medical terminology. Physical/Environmental Ability to interact with computer screen for up to six hours at a time (visual acuity required). Must have manual dexterity for use of keyboard. Ability to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours. Ability to communicate via phone, mail and in person to resolve disputes, solve problems, etc. Capacity to function in a sometimes stressful, face paced work environment
