Plant Administrator 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 207 Seaboard Rd, Andrews, SC 29510 ITI Hydraulik, a manufacturer of hydraulic jacks and power units for elevators, is seeking a dedicated and organized Plant Administrator to join our team. This role will support our administrative, HR, office, operational functions, serve as a liaison to leadership, and assist the Plant Manager. This position is located at a manufacturing plant, located in Andrews, SC.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
Manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations. Maintain and organize office files, records, and documentation. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
HR Duties:
Assist with the recruitment process by answering calls and scheduling interviews. Conduct new employee orientations and assist with onboarding processes. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Support employee engagement initiatives and assist with organizing company events. Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
Office Duties:
Monitor and manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring timely replenishment. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office maintenance and supplies. Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and conducive to productivity. Assist in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
Operational Duties:
Support project management activities and track project progress. Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Coordinate logistics for company events and meetings. Assistant to
Plant Manager Duties:
Provide administrative support to the Plant Manager, including managing their calendar and scheduling meetings. Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as requested by the Plant Manager. Assist in coordinating plant operations and communicating with various departments. Handle confidential information and sensitive matters with discretion. Facilitate communication between the Plant Manager and other staff members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience required . 5+ years of Office or Operations Management experience required . In a manufacturing environment preferred. 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience and proven track record of managing a team of 5 or more employees required . 5+ years of general Human Resources, People Management and knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, ADA, etc.) required . Lean Manufacturing knowledge and practical application experience preferred. Training, orientation experience preferred. Proven experience in administrative and supportive roles. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent and professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong conflict resolution and problem solving abilities. Ability to be proactive and anticipate needs of Plant Manager and team.
