Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, particularly focusing on tasks related to rent calculations and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a government-related environment while utilizing your organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform rent calculations with precision, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to address inquiries and provide information.
  • Manage email correspondence professionally and respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records through efficient data entry and documentation.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments to support office operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, for various administrative tasks.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues.
  • Support office staff with general administrative duties as needed.
  • Ensure all processes align with organizational standards and procedures. Requirements
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within housing or government-related sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in rent calculations and familiarity with Housing Choice Voucher programs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Prior experience in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Customer service experience, demonstrating a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
