Description SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to SAFE Investment Services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following:
- Coordinate the advisor(s) schedule.
- Manage phone calls for advisor(s)
- Tracks referrals from staff and responds to referrals from all sources.
- Set up and confirm appointments with members.
- Coordinates financial planning seminars.
- Meets assigned sales and service goals.
- Maintains current and accurate marketing lists and files.
- Market SAFE Investment Services program and visit requested branches.
- Coordinates mailings to include birthday cards and newsletters.
- Assist with address changes, questions, account changes, beneficiary updates, etc.
- Order supplies.
- Completes required internal compliance training, as well as required compliance training from investment partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No requirement.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
- Schedules a minimum of 15 planning appointments per week.
- Types a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Maintain records of prospects and clients in the Member File System. Maintain Advertising file and log, Correspondence file, and maintain database of all clients.
- Order and maintain supplies and brochures.
- Distribute advertising material to all branches.
- Stay current on all compliance issues.
- Market the SAFE Investment Services program.

Regulatory Requirements:

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulatory instructions, policy manuals, and task documentation. Ability to write clearly and concisely in producing routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees and members of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, and decimals. Ability to compute basic, as well as, complex numeric calculations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems utilizing listening skills and diplomacy.
