Job Description The Administrative Assistant to theCampus Dean for DCOM at LMU-Knoxville shall function at a high level to assist the Chief Academic Officer in the day-to-day and periodic operations and communication requirements including scheduling, coordinating, and reporting, while also supporting other departments as deemed neccessary.
Required Qualifications •Experience in an administrative assistant level position
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years experience in an administrative assistant level position and some college in related field of study.

Job Duty
Job Duty promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large
Job Duty promote effective working relationships among LMU faculty, staff and students
Job Duty participate on university committees
Job Duty function at a high level and manage the day to day activities of the CAO s Office
Job Duty support operations
Job Duty provide assistance to guests and visitors of the CAO s office
Job Duty coordinate and manage special events, VIP arrangements, luncheons, annual faculty retreat, annual holiday parties, and other events sponsored by the CAO or operations
Job Duty Schedule and coordinate travel and visit arrangements for incoming faculty and/or staff candidates
Job Duty Support graduation and white coat ceremony
Job Duty assist exam services with proctoring needs
Job Duty assist in the development of the budget proposals for DCOM at LMU-Knoxville
Job Duty assist in the oversight of the CAO s Office budget
Job Duty coordinate meetings for and update the calendar of the CAO of DCOM at LMU-Knoxville and operations department
Job Duty coordinate phone calls, messages, and information
Job Duty oversee the annual evaluation process for DCOM at LMU-Knoxville faculty and staff to ensure all necessary documents are completed and submitted to appropriate offices
Job Duty collect updated CV s from faculty and staff on an annual basis
Job Duty perform general office and receptionist duties to include filing, scheduling appointments, collecting data for files, duplicating, distributing mail, working with students and faculty, and maintaining adequate inventory of supplies
Job Duty maintain privacy and confidentiality
Job Duty design necessary forms for effective operation of the division
Job Duty assist with the annual strategic planning meetings for the University, Dean s Council, and DCOM
Job Duty prepare various lists and reports as needed
Job Duty complete required institutional and program accreditation reports and other reports necessary for the operation and advancement of the University
Job Duty other duties as assigned
