Role:
Our Client is seeking a motivated Administrative Services & Asset Management Coordinator to join the Operations team in downtown Nashville . This temporary, on-site position plays a vital role in supporting procurement, tracking state-owned assets, and ensuring administrative efficiency across the agency. You’ll work directly with technical staff and leadership, delivering essential logistical and administrative support for fleet and asset programs across Tennessee.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and document purchases of capital and sensitive assets using the Edison PeopleSoft system Input and maintain asset records in Smart Simple , the agency’s asset management database Coordinate surplus processes for outdated or unused assets via the Department of General Services Assist with statewide on-site asset audits to ensure compliance and accuracy Train and support staff on state asset management policies, procedures, and systems Perform general administrative duties, including document management, tracking records, and generating reports
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in administrative support, property coordination, or procurement Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint , and SharePoint Familiarity with asset tracking systems (e.g., Smart Simple ) and state platforms such as Edison PeopleSoft Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and handle multiple priorities High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
