Construction Admin Assistant Responsibilities:
Develop preliminary and long-term schedules for installations, verify with managers, and distribute updates. Process timecards for carpenters and support staff, ensuring accuracy in coding and approvals. Organize and distribute field installation files, including work codes, scope letters, labor estimates, and safety documentation. Order materials, equipment, and anchorage supplies while coordinating deliveries with project managers and drivers. Maintain inventory of tools, coordinate repairs, and ensure adequate stock for upcoming projects. Prepare safety documentation, distribute OSHA logs, track incidents, and manage personal protective equipment distribution. Maintain personnel files, assist with hiring and lay-offs, and ensure compliance with hiring documentation. Code and approve department invoices, track investments, and maintain system updates for tracking resources.
Construction Admin Assistant Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; experience in construction or installation coordination preferred. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook). Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative in streamlining processes.
