PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

You are the first impression of SCT! This role blends warm, front-line hospitality with high-impact communication and culture initiatives. As our People Experience & Community Coordinator , you’ll manage day-to-day reception and office needs while helping us shape the way team members experience our values—from their first step through our doors to their first anniversary and beyond. We’re seeking someone who can thrive in the present and help build the future, someone who sees both the beauty in a well-organized front desk and the power of a well-told story.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY

Reception and Administrative Support Greet and welcome guests, vendors, and candidates with warmth and professionalism. Manage the Greetly Virtual Assistant Software and notify IT of technical issues. Answer and route incoming calls courteously with strong phone etiquette. Maintain a clean, welcoming front office environment; report maintenance issues as needed. Handle incoming/outgoing mail, shipping, and package delivery processes. Oversee company vehicle usage, including reservations, logs, and maintenance scheduling.

Assist with administrative tasks:

order office supplies, send celebration/sympathy cards, and support People Team efforts. Communications and Engagement Support an internal People Team Communication Strategy for both corporate and plant audiences. Expand and support the People-Centered Leadership Brief, adding team highlights, success stories, and practical insights. Create monthly internal event calendars, daily “Prayers & Praises” emails, and bulletin board updates using tools like Canva. Manage milestone communications (30, 60, 90 days, and 1 year) to engage team members during key phases of their journey. Design engaging content for Zoom Rooms and visual displays that celebrate our culture. Recognition & Celebrations Support internal recognition initiatives with thoughtful communications, gifts, and logistical planning. Support presentations and logistics for retirement parties and special celebrations. Event & Project Coordination Support volunteer and team events, including: Prayer meetings Bethel Birthday sponsorships Culture Champion lunches Service initiatives like Angel Tree, Operation Christmas Child Manage SignUpGenius links, volunteer forms, and communications. Support People Team event logistics, signage, attendance tracking, and material preparation. Distribute and track team payments for stock product orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High School diploma required; associate or bachelor’s Degree is a plus You’re warm, organized, and attentive to detail. You love telling stories, crafting culture moments, and building community. You have experience in administrative, customer service, communications, or culture-focused roles. You are confident using tools like Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Canva, PowerPoint, Greetly, and MS Teams. You balance creativity with structure—excited to plan a party, write an announcement, or design a flyer, all in one day.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

: Must have the ability to read and understand complex documents, letters, etc. and write legibly in English. Must be able to understand and speak clearly and communicate in English.
