Administrative Clerk,Athens Family Practice Job Type:
Full-time,DayShift Performs a range of clerical duties related to the support of operations of the unit including updating and organizing information on the unit; coordinating work within the unit and with other units and departments; reporting relevant information to the supervisor; and responding to inquiries and requests from patients,visitorsand caregivers. Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:
- Facilitates communications among caregivers,patientsand visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Collects payments from patients
- Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.
- Coordinates daily patient flow activities.
- Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions tomaintaininventory levels.
- Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.
- Faxes andphotocopiesinformation as requested by staff.
