Administrative Assistant to Staff Director/Manager 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 3620 Hacks Cross Road, Memphis, TN 38125 Performs high-level administrative support for a FedEx Legal Managing Director (MD) and other staff members in the Legal department. Maintains the office and/or department daily administrative operations, which includes handling situations of varying complexity that can often not be brought to the immediate attention of the MD.
Essential Functions:
Performs clerical functions which may require knowledge of general business and office procedures including maintaining follow-up files, assembling materials for reports and using a personal computer. Receives and escorts visitors. Receives, date stamps and distributes department mail. Schedules appointments and maintains calendar for management and coordinates arrangements for staff meetings, business travel, seminars, etc. Answers and screens telephone calls. Processes, coordinates, and follows up with vendor accounting on bills received for payment and expense reports and relieves management of administrative duties. Composes emails, letters for items such as equipment repairs, unit schedules, etc. Perform other duties as assigned.

This position will be central meaning the successful candidate will be required to work onsite at the Memphis FedEx Campus location.
