PM Job Summary:
The Executive Administrative Assistant performs professional staff work of routine to average difficulty in relieving an executive of administrative details. This role requires discretion, communication skills, and the ability to manage internal and external relationships while supporting the executive in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between the executive’s office and: Governor’s office Departmental staff State, local, and federal agencies Community organizations and groups Attend legislative functions, meetings, and public gatherings to represent the executive office and gather relevant information. Handle complaints and requests from legislators, departments, citizens, and employees. Assign, train, supervise, and evaluate clerical and administrative staff. Make recommendations regarding staffing decisions such as hiring, promotions, and performance-based increases. Prepare both routine and non-routine correspondence; draft replies or direct to appropriate divisions. Assemble materials for meetings, speeches, and staff briefings; take meeting minutes as needed. Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain expense records. Manage office supply orders and operate standard office equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Basic proficiency in using office software and equipment. Prior supervisory or administrative support experience is preferred. #TB_EN
