Bookkeeping Assistant Confidential Tennessee • Remote Virtual Bookkeeping Firm Seeking Bookkeeping Assistant We are seeking a bookkeeping assistant to work 1-2 hours in the morning each day categorizing transactions in QuickBooks Online. This role will start at $14 per hour and you will be working alongside the owner. This role will slowly grow into taking on more clients and more responsibilities. This position is 100% remote for someone residing in the state of Florida or Tennessee. As a bookkeeping assistant you will be responsible for initially assisting with the daily bookkeeping of a few clients while learning the ropes. This role will grow to take on more responsibilities, and up to 30+ clients, but always remain part-time. The role will start off at 5-10 hours per week, 1-2 hour per day, and grow to up to 15-30 hours per week. Due to certain responsibilities the first week of each month, the first week will grow into more hours then the remaining weeks. This position will be paid weekly. After the initial training period, you are welcome to start anytime between 7-10am.
Initial responsibilities will include:
Categorizing transactions daily in QuickBooks Online Assist in creating monthly transaction lists and updating transactions Assist in creating and collaborating on draft emails to clients Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations Ad hoc items as requested Will grow into additional responsibilities overtime.
