About Us:
We are a successful family that owns and operates a growing company, and we’re looking for a Family Assistant to help support both our personal and professional needs in an office setting. This is a flexible, dynamic role where you will balance assisting with household tasks and office-related duties, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who is organized, reliable, and capable of multitasking in both a family and business environment. The main office is in Franklin.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Assist with calendar management, scheduling meetings, and booking travel for both personal and business needs. Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls as needed.
Office Management:
Help with maintaining the organization of the office space, including supply management, filing systems, and handling incoming packages and deliveries.
Errands & Personal Tasks:
Run errands for the family, including grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and organizing personal appointments.
Event Coordination:
Assist with planning and coordinating family and business-related events, including meetings, dinners, and special family gatherings.
Business Support:
Provide occasional assistance to family members in the office with tasks such as organizing documents, setting reminders, and managing family schedules.
Research & Special Projects:
Assist with research and personal projects for the family or business-related needs. This could range from gift research to supporting business ventures.
Travel Arrangements:
Coordinate and manage travel for the family and business, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
Financial Administration:
Help with managing household budgets, tracking expenses, and handling basic accounting tasks such as invoice processing (training available if needed).
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a personal assistant, office manager, or in a similar role is preferred. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in both a professional office and a family-oriented setting. Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Ability to handle a variety of responsibilities with a positive and calm demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of office equipment. A valid driver’s license. Willingness to adapt to varying family and business needs.
