Keeping the parts and pieces and people where, when, and how they need to be? A love of 4-legged friends? If so, let’s talk! Our Household Assistant will support a family of 6, plus 2 fur-babies, with the day-to-day activities needed to keep our busy family on track. We are looking for someone who is uber organized and detailed, ready to tackle new projects and juggle priorities on any given day, is ready to be busy every day, and most importantly understands and appreciates a Christ-centered family environment. Comfortable working independently or with family present, able to adjust on the fly and keep up with the timelines and schedules as needed. Key Responsibilities Calendar management for the household, including parents and children activities, coordinating with business Executive Assistant to ensure all commitments and appointments are met Travel planning and coordination including booking, creating itineraries for on-location, planning for transportation Running errands including pharmacy, grocery shopping, car maintenance, dry cleaning, household laundry as needed, household shopping, returns, gift purchases, children activity supplies, etc. Putting groceries away, meal prepping to allow for ease of cooking each evening by the family, prepare any travel meals / snacks for evening activities Organizing the household based on established structure and needs including pantries, wardrobes, supplies, events, decor, etc. Ensuring that home offices are organized and remain clutter free Coordination and management of any services and/or vendors for the home Answer and make phone calls on behalf of the family: Schedule/cancel personal appointments, create travel itineraries, and prepare logistic documents Maintain a product list for home and personal items, including sourcing information, order frequency, and building a restock list and schedule to avoid out of stock and/or missing items Assist with transportation of family members, including children, as needed Partner with the household Principals to act as back-up support for children coordination as needed, including driving to meet the Principal, stay at some practices if Principals are otherwise engaged, etc. Core Competencies & Personal Attributes Passion and takes pride in organizational and time management Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment Ability to interact professionally with a variety of individuals, including children, vendors, family, friends, educators, and colleagues, in social and professional settings Detail-oriented, intuitive, and proactive approach to problem solving Independent and confident in personal abilities to accomplish tasks Knowledge & Skills Household management and/or personal assistant experience Event planning a plus Comfortable with the Brentwood & Franklin side of town Reliable daily transportation, ability to travel periodically a plus Understanding what it takes to manage an active household with a family and all that comes with it Additional Information The ideal candidate understands this role is one that is an extension of our family and will treat this role with dedication and commitment. The beginning schedule is 8:00am – 5:30pm, however once onboard and a familiarity is established, this may adjust as needed.
