This is a 12-month position with hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. This position provides administrative support to the Division Head, faculty and staff of the Lower School. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Responding to the needs and requests of parents and faculty Greeting and directing guests and answering inquiry calls Creating and maintaining organizational systems Scheduling meetings with teachers and parents, including ILP conferences three times per year Monitoring and ordering supplies and materials Managing all reports and databases pertaining to the Lower School Compiling information for Division newsletters Coordinating Lower School activities including, but not limited to, Back-to-School night, monthly assemblies, special events, and field trips Printing, collating and distributing materials for conferences Supporting Lower School students as requested by the Division Head Preference will be give to candidates that display the following knowledge and skills: Ability to multitask with a positive attitude and address issues as they arise. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, problem solve when uncertain of how to proceed, and carry out tasks without direct supervision. Maintain a pleasant and professional attitude and demeanor to all students, parents, staff, faculty and visitors. Maintain procedural flexibility and use of time. Demonstrate proficiency in Google, email, Canva (or other similar software), and willing to learn school-specific software. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal. At least two years of relevant experience.
