Full Job Description Caregiver Needed Location:
Franklin, TN.
Schedule:
7 days per week, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (5 hours per day)
Pay:
$20.00 per hour We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide support to an individual with cerebral palsy. This role is essential in ensuring their comfort, well-being, and independence in their daily life.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with personal care tasks, which may include hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Providing support with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands. Facilitating engagement in hobbies and interests. Offering companionship and emotional support. Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. Following instructions from the individual and their family regarding care plans. Communicating effectively any observations or concerns.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a caregiver, preferably with individuals with disabilities. Understanding of cerebral palsy and its associated needs is a plus. Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliability and punctuality are crucial. Must be authorized to work in the United States. CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willingness to obtain. Background check will be required.
