SUMMARY OF POSITION
The primary role of the Warranty Coordinator is to document and/or follow standard operating procedures, preparing reports, compiling data, analyzing data, investigating and resolving problems. Work is in office, primarily self-directed, requiring analysis, initiative and independent judgment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, archives, and distributes inbound customer emails to field warranty techs
Disseminates warranty requests and inform homeowner of items that may exempt from warranty as stated in DFH warranty manual
Email customers post closing to ensure they understand warranty process and had an excellent customer experience
Works as liaison between customers, warranty techs, and management
Generate warranty tickets and notes to track warranty tech appointment and repair work
Inputs initial customer requests into DFH ERP system (BuildPro)
Confirms work has been completed to homeowner satisfaction
Assist Field Warranty Tech Representatives with information as needed.
Can work as back fill to Sales, Permitting, and Closing Coordinator as needed.
Job could require weekend response to homeowner for emergencies
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
Minimum Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
Typically has one to three years of experience in administrative support position within a corporate setting.
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
Good knowledge of administrative practices and procedures
May make contact of a sensitive, complex, and sometime confidential nature both inside and outside of the company
Professional appearance and presentation
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and time management skills
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
