    S_165373 Spherion Vermont is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our client’s operations in Colchester, VT.

You will have the opportunity at contributing to the smooth functioning of the office of a construction company, providing administrative support to the Director of Finance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data entry, comfortable with QuickBooks, and adept at managing vendor information.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for various business functions, including project tracking, and inventory.
  • Assist with record-keeping using QuickBooks, including data input, reconciliation support, and report generation.
  • Manage and maintain vendor information, including contact details, and contracts.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable entries as directed.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
Working hours:

9:00 AM

  • 5:00
PM Skills:
  • Proven experience in an administrative support role is preferred.

A plus if it is within construction or a related industry.

Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience with QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
