Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager Alabama Metal Fabricators Inc Elberta, AL 36530 Job Overview We are seeking an organized and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail oriented and able to maintain accuracy while interacting with customers and vendors in an office atmosphere. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Duties Full charge accounting cycle covering all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, job costing, accounts receivable, sales tax, payroll, bank reconciliations and handling of various employee benefit programs. Monthly processing of sales tax for multiple states/localities. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable regulations. Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately. Apply technical accounting knowledge to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and supporting documentation. Assist in corporate accounting tasks and collaborate with external Accounting Firm for year end processes and as other needs arise. Work with management on processing and maintaining employee benefit programs. Experience Experience with Quickbooks Desktop Enterprise, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word are required. Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in accounting. Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping and job costing principles. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in financial analysis & reporting. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. This position requires a proactive approach to managing finances while ensuring compliance with established policies.
