Job Description

Office Manager Saxe Doernberger & Vita Trumbull, CT 06611 Saxe, Doernberger & Vita, a national insurance coverage law firm with offices in Trumbull, Connecticut, is seeking a Office Manager. SDV is among the elite law firms in the country solely representing policyholders in insurance coverage disputes. We advise our clients on all manner of insurance coverage issues including policy placements, renewals, drafting policy language, contractual risk transfer and claims. We also litigate coverage disputes between our clients and insurance carriers.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the office and help improve company procedures and day-to-day operations. You will be the go-to person for all office-related responsibilities, including administrative support, facility management, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage front-desk operations, including reception duties, handling phone calls, and greeting visitors. Oversee general office maintenance, supplies, and inventory. Coordinate office logistics including space planning, office moves, and equipment management. Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency. Manage office budget, vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts for office services (cleaning, repairs, IT support, etc.). Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers and staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized office environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Office Manager. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work. Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office management software. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures. Experience in HR support and office compliance matters. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working with confidential information.
