Office Manager/Accountant Shore Appliances Groton, CT 06340 The Office Manager / Accountant will help manage our day-to-day back office operations and financial processes. This part-time role is perfect for someone with a background in accounting or office administration who thrives in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties Accounting & Administrative Duties:

Verify customer payments before all scheduled deliveries Invoice delivery slips promptly upon return from the field Manage Accounts Receivable for both Service and Sales Submit and track Damage Allowance claims and ensure timely crediting to the correct accounts Process and manage LG Rebate submissions and track outcomes

Sales Oversight & Reporting:

Review daily sales for: Underpriced or incorrectly priced items Unnecessary discounts Indicators of poor sales habits or inconsistent pricing strategies Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets for sales review and accountability

Compliance & Vendor Code Management:

Confirm correct usage of BrandSource finance codes : Ensure use of appropriate 0% financing codes Identify and discourage use of incorrect or higher-fee codes (e.g., 4.5%) Oversee Yearly PCI Compliance documentation and submission Work Experience & Skills Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office management (3+ years preferred) Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) High attention to detail and process consistency Self-starter with good time management and organizational skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Familiarity with retail or appliance industry is a plus
