The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the firm, manage support staff, and ensure the office environment supports the attorneys’ ability to deliver high-quality legal services. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in managing a professional office—preferably within a legal environment. This is a hybrid role , requiring four days per week on-site at the Fort Lauderdale office.
Key Responsibilities:
As Office Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the administrative staff and overseeing daily office procedures to ensure smooth operations. You will manage scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to support optimal productivity across the firm. This role includes oversight of client intake processes, document management, and case file organization. You will assist with budgeting and billing functions, handle vendor relationships, and manage procurement of office supplies. The Office Manager will implement and maintain office systems, policies, and procedures while working closely with IT support to ensure all operational equipment is functioning properly. You will also coordinate meetings, attorney travel, and firm events. Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards—including confidentiality—is critical, as is supporting HR functions such as onboarding, staff training, and employee relations. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all facilities and building management matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred Minimum 3-5 years of office management experience (legal or professional services environment strongly preferred) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, legal practice management software) Ability to implement new software systems, past experience in doing so a plus Understanding of legal terminology and basic legal procedures is a plus Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information
