Job Overview The Office Admin / HR Support Specialist plays a critical role in creating a productive and positive workplace. This role combines office management with HR and employee engagement support, helping ensure our day-to-day operations run efficiently while fostering a vibrant, empowered, and connected company culture. This is an in-office position ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Office Administration Manage front desk responsibilities: greet visitors, answer phones, and handle mail and deliveries Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized office environment Coordinate office logistics including supplies, vendor relations, and equipment needs Assist with scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and internal communications Support leadership team with general administrative tasks HR Support & Employee Engagement Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, benefits enrollment, and IT setup coordination Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files Support payroll processing, PTO tracking, and compliance documentation Coordinate employee engagement programs including birthdays, anniversaries, recognition initiatives, wellness activities, and team-building events Assist with planning and executing company-wide events, town halls, and celebrations Facilitate internal surveys and feedback tools to measure and improve team morale Partner with leadership on initiatives that drive culture, empowerment, and retention Stay informed on HR best practices and help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws Qualifications 2+ years of experience in office administration, HR, or people operations Strong organizational and project coordination skills Excellent written and verbal communication High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust across teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; experience with payroll platforms is a plus Passion for creating a positive employee experience and company culture Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Career growth in a thriving fintech company Collaborative and people-first culture Onsite perks: stocked kitchen, team lunches, parking, and more Opportunity to directly shape workplace experience and culture
