Tropical Generator LLC serves the community with quality emergency generators to protect homes and businesses from power outages. Our team is dedicated to quality work and customer service, and we are an authorized dealer and service center for Kohler, Generac and Cummins generators. The Job – Accounting and Office Manager Job is located at our office in Bonita Springs/Estero on Coconut Road. We are searching for a friendly, professional Office Manager and Bookkeeper ! In this role you will handle a variety of office management tasks including accounts payable and receivable, QuickBooks, invoicing, and answering phone calls. The Office Manager must enjoy variety in their day, and be comfortable with small-business operations. The office manager will answer customer questions, schedule appointments, and resolve basic customer service issues. Qualifications QuickBooks Desktop experience is a must. Must be able to use QuickBooks, enter and audit transactions, and prepare reports for the outside accountant. Clean, neat appearance. Good telephone skills and voice. Previous experience in a busy but not overwhelming office management role is a must. High school diploma or equivalent required, and some college or college degree preferred. 2-year or 4-year degree in an applicable field preferred, not required. A sense of urgency, and desire to move quickly and get the job done…well, that’s a must. All applicants should be familiar with the expectations of a professional workplace. Must be able to work an entire workday without use of tobacco or similar products. Our office has a highly family-friendly environment, zero harassment policy, zero drug policy, and we offer flexible working hours and paid vacation/PTO, plus 7 paid holidays.

Compensation:

This is an hourly position with compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications. Working hours are either 8a-4p or 9a-5p. A 40-hour/week schedule can be expected (little to no overtime). Successful candidate must be, or be able to obtain, status as a notary public for the State of Florida. It is essential that all applicants are very comfortable with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Excel spreadsheets . Our office is “zero-paper” wherever possible, and computer proficiency is a must.
