Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and experienced Field Manager to oversee daily operations of our petition field canvassing office in Miami. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading teams of canvassers, ensuring high-quality signature collection, maintaining compliance with campaign guidelines, and driving performance through team development and real-time problem solving. As Field Manager, you will be responsible for training, supervising, and motivating canvassers to meet daily and weekly goals. You will work closely with campaign leadership to track progress, manage logistics, and resolve field-based challenges in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard field canvassers
- Provide daily training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Supervise field shifts and ensure canvassers are meeting signature collection goals
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture that emphasizes accountability and high standards
Operational Management:
- Coordinate daily deployment of canvassing teams in targeted neighborhoods
- Manage canvassing supplies, petition sheets, and other logistical needs
- Track daily metrics and report field data to campaign leadership
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accurate and valid signature collection
Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution:
- Proactively identify and resolve conflicts among staff or between canvassers and the public
- Address underperformance quickly and constructively
- Implement contingency plans when field conditions (weather, access, etc.) affect deployment

Compliance & Communication:
- Ensure all canvassers understand and follow state and campaign-specific rules for petition collection
- Handle incident reports and escalate issues to upper management as needed
- Serve as a liaison between field staff and campaign leadership
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in political campaigns, grassroots organizing, canvassing, or field management
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required
