Job Description

Office Manager Physicians Associates (KMP) Miami, FL 33176 Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk activities, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient office management practices. This role requires a strong background in medical office management, budgeting, and vendor management, along with excellent team management skills. Provides administrative and management support to the Practice related to the daily operations. Responsible for seeking opportunities for operational and fiscal improvement and participates in all aspects of quality improvement, and patient safety. Seeks to identify opportunities and needed staff training and development to achieve a high performing team based work environment. Candidate should have a minimum of 4-8 years experience in Office Management at a Primary Care Facility. Duties Oversee front desk operations and ensure a welcoming environment for patients and visitors. Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and performance. Supervises all employees, medical and non-medical staff. Makes deposits. Reconciles account information. Pays medical office bills, ensures timely payments to vendors, etc. by submitting to Accounting Dept. Oversees employee schedules. Maintains employee records and acts as a liaison between management and employees. Arranges for emergency maintenance visits for building. Orders medical and office supplies; responsible for inventory. Delegates responsibilities. Assess employee performance. Disseminates office policies and procedures to direct staff. Formulates objectives and processes. Associate degree or higher with concentration in business or a health care related discipline. Minimum 4 years’ experience in medical practice operations including responsibility for staff supervision in a medical practice or similar organization. Knowledge of medical coding. Knowledge of medical issues and terminology. Knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws. Demonstrates strong leadership skills. Strong revenue cycle and medical resource management experience. Experience Proven experience in office management or a similar role, preferably in a medical setting. Experience in eClinicalworks EMR /Billing System. Strong skills in budgeting, vendor management, and team supervision are essential. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in training development is a plus, along with strong interpersonal communication skills.
