Office Manager Nova Medical Services Miami, FL 33157 Overview The Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of the medical clinic, ensuring smooth workflow, efficient administrative processes, and an exceptional experience for patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various aspects of clinic operations including patient care coordination, office administration, and staff management. Responsibilities Supervise total operation of the Medical Facility. Responsible for the overall management of the facility under the authority delegated by the Board of Directors in accordance with the facility policies. Oversees the development of standards and methods to measure the Medical Facility activities. Participates in the review, analysis, and appraisal of the effectiveness of the total Medical Facility. Provides for continuing evaluation of the program by: The implementation of all utilization review. Evaluating service policies and functions and recommending changes if necessary. Coordinating the timely implementation of corrective action plans and controls. Evaluating the performance of non-medical staff. Ensure the clinic adheres to HIPAA regulations and maintains patient confidentiality. Oversee the storage and disposal of medical records in compliance with legal requirements. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and office equipment.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Skills and Experience:
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required). Proven ability to work in diverse healthcare settings (clinics, ALFs, nursing homes). Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with computers and EMR systems (preferable) Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work with various providers and patient demographics.
