About the Position The Bishop’s Office is seeking an Office Manager and Administrative Support (OMA) who will play a key role in supporting the ministry of the Canon for Administration to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the office. A critical part of this role includes managing and maintaining ourdiocesan database, which serves as the foundation for effective communication and connection across our churches, schools, and ministries. The OMA will also support the Director of Communications in telling our story across the diocese and beyond. This position is ideal for someone who feels called to serve through the gifts of organization, communication, and collaboration. The OMA will be instrumental in helping us steward relationships, streamline internal systems, and uplift themission and ministries of our diocese with clarity, care, and purpose. The OMA administratively supports the work of the Canon for Administration, to whom the position reports, and is responsible for office internal procedures, including: Serve as the point person for Comcast , troubleshoot service disruptions, and open tickets Manage all Verizon Accounts, including purchasing new devices, handling plan adjustments, and overseeing account openings and closings Purchase office Apple and Lenovo devices , manage and schedule repairs, open tickets, and handle warranty claims through Apple Care + and Lenovo Sending, tracking, and following up with IT Tickets to our vendors. Manage the office’s main email account , communicate and respond to inquiries, forward messages to appropriate staff, and handle requests as they come in. Manage 3CX , the office’s phone system. The Director of Communications will provide holiday greetings to record and schedule. Open and track tickets Manage Google Workspace and handle user accounts, create distribution lists, reset passwords when needed, and open support tickets for system related issues Oversee Zoom accounts, including resetting passwords, transferring licenses, and opening tickets for technical issues. Under the direction of the Director of Communications the OMA is responsible for the following areas: Database Website Management Manage databases and contact lists Update, clean, and organize data to support communications and outreach Create and manage website event registrations, calendar updates, and pull lists Maintain and update distribution lists within Google Workspace from the database Alert Media and Storm Disaster Plan Send emergency alerts through Alert Media Ensure alerts are clear, timely, and aligned with organizational protocols Update, schedule, and distribute messages to the appropriate audiences Annually update the office’s storm and disaster plan IT-Savvy for Simple Office Solutions Comfortable troubleshooting basic IT issues (printers, email, software, etc.) Quick learner who can adapt to new software and communication platforms Graphic Design Support Proficiency in Canva for quick, high-quality designs Experience using Adobe Illustrator is a preferred Video Recording & Editing Ability to record and edit short-form and basic long-form videos if needed Experience with iMovie, or similar editing software Social Media Ability to create engaging visuals for social media posts if needed Experience scheduling and posting on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other platforms Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree General requirements Strong attention to data accuracy, segmentation, and reporting Proficiency with CRM systems and Constant Contact, or similar tools Ability to update, schedule, and distribute messages to the appropriate audiences Ability to create digital graphics using our branding
