Summary
The Hyatt Centric Key West is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our amazing team. The Hyatt Centric is centrally located within Old Town and a short stroll to the lively Duval Street. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to help lead our Front Office team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. In this hands-on leadership role, you will support daily operations, ensure service excellence, and play a key role in colleague development.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in overseeing the Front Office team, including guest services, check-in/check-out operations, and room assignments
Monitor cash handling procedures and maintain accountability among team members
Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and daily shift operations
Provide on-the-job training, performance coaching, and staff development opportunities
Foster a warm, weing atmosp that supports both guest and colleague satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

What You Bring:

Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a hotel front office environment
Strong attention to detail andanizational skills
Exceptional interpersonal andmunication abilities
A passion for hospitality and amitment to service excellence
The ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and writtenmunication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
2-3 years of progressive hotel Rooms experience preferred
Minimum of one year previous Front Office supervisory experience
Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effectivemunicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must have excellentanizational, interpersonal and administrative skills with a friendly and engaging attitude
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
