Job Description

Ticketing and Box Office Supervisor –

Full-time Job Description:

The Ticketing and Box Office Supervisor oversees the Box Office Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and assists in managing all ticketing and box office operations at The Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. This role manages escalated guest concerns, upholds the Center s values in guest interactions, and ensures seamless operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience. By prioritizing guest satisfaction and operational excellence, the Supervisor plays a key role in enhancing the overall patron experience and contributing to the continued success of the venue s performances and events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee call center and box office operations, ensuring CSRs provide excellent service and adhere to policies and procedures. Supervise, train, and motivate CSRs in customer service and software usage, offering guidance on issue resolution and escalating when necessary. Foster a positive team environment, maintain morale, and ensure smooth daily operations, including scheduling, briefings, and task assignments. Manage sales, cash receipts, and ticket requests, ensuring timely report submission to Finance and external parties. Serve as the primary liaison for a designated department, handling specialized tasks. Oversee Box Office opening/closing, special projects, and email management; conduct annual CSR evaluations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

Minimum of two years in customer service and supervisory roles, preferably in live entertainment, hospitality, or box office operations. Flexible availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to ticketing platforms (Tessitura experience is a plus). Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and conflict management skills. Capable of working under pressure, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel). Experience handling cash, credit card, and check transactions. High school diploma required; bachelor s degree preferred.
