Office Administrator Decks, Docks, and Seawalls of Florida 17600 Gulf Boulevard, Redington Shores, FL 33708 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator who is proficient in the permit process to support our team in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a customer-focused attitude, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role involves managing front desk responsibilities, handling data entry tasks, and providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors. Were looking for someone who stays busy, takes initiative, and can manage tasks without constant supervision or instruction. The permitting coordinator must be dedicated to the company’s overall success. Decks, Docks, and Seawalls needs a reliable, organized person to assist with day to day operations. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible and excellent communication skills. If you have worked in a fast paced office in the past (preferably in the construction field or building department), we are excited to talk with you! Please note that our permit tech will need to help with other office tasks like tracking product eta so they know when to pull the permits and speaking with customers with open permit jobs. Notary license is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in the permitting process for Pinellas County and neighboring cities. This is a smoke-free workplace and we have a

Job Responsibilities:
Process all permitting procedures with building departments to obtain permits for every installation within a deadline Ordering and tracking warranty products to ensure jobs are ready to close. Request, obtain and submit NOC documentation for every permit pulled Schedule final inspections and obtain inspection results Maintain communication with inspectors and the building department for resolution of failed inspections. Complete final payment of jobs by getting authorization to process final payments, sending customers final bill of sale and contractor affidavits for NOC compliance Provide team support to all other office staff as necessary throughout the day Staying up to datewith product ETAs, installation scheduling, backorder tracking, and communication with installers. Required Skills for the Position Knowledge of spreadsheets and data entry – we use Google Workspace, Excel, google docs, and other basic software. Permitting Process for Pinellas County and neighboring cities. Detailed note taker with organizational skills Excellent communication skills with clear handwriting and concise vocabulary Efficient time management with the ability to multitask and stay focused Follow directions and understand instructions, asking questions as necessary for clarity Diligently work with little to no supervision A friendly and positive attitude with the ability to work well with any kind of person or temperament while maintaining composure and protecting brand reputation
