Bookeeper/Office Manager Sunshine State Metals INC Dundee, FL 33838 Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, including experience with journal entries, corporate accounting, and payroll management. This role is essential for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the overall administrative functions of the organization. Duties Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all administrative tasks. Prepare and maintain journal entries, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting. Oversee accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections. Administer payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees. Utilize Quicken for budgeting and financial tracking to support organizational goals. Perform double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets, providing insights into financial concepts as needed. Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards. Maintain filing systems for both physical and digital documents to ensure easy access to important information. Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role in an administrative capacity. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including budgeting, accounts receivable, and payroll management. Proficiency in Quicken and other accounting software; familiarity with 10 key typing is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
