Full-Time Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to oversee daily administrative operations at our road and bridge construction company. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction industry office management, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of administrative systems, logistics coordination, and project support.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to support project logistics and documentation. Maintain accurate records of contracts, equipment, permits, vendor agreements, and employee certifications. Oversee HR onboarding paperwork in coordination with the HR department. Manage office supplies, equipment, and service vendors. Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including maintaining up-to-date insurance and licensing records, including Worker’s Comp policies and processes. Support bid preparation, proposal submissions, and project documentation. Serve as a point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Experience as an office manager or administrative assistant, preferably in construction or a related industry. Basic understanding of construction terminology, processes, and documentation. Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Working Conditions:
