The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing operations and maintaining business functionality and safety of our facility. This position requires a blend of technical review skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The Facility office manager will be responsible for various functional and maintenance tasks and ensuring that all facilities meet operational standards.
Responsibilities:
Data Management:
Organizing, updating, and maintaining data in spreadsheets, databases, and reports.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate and organized records, files, and documents.
Communication:
Answering phones, responding to emails, and providing information to customers or colleagues.
Office Support:
Assisting with general office tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing mail and shipments, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Clerical Duties:
Preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
Logistics support:
Shipping and handling of deliveries
Lab Safety and Equipment Maintenance:
Ensuring that equipment is functioning properly and safely, and report on issues
Others:
Additional duties and special tasks as assigned. General skills an qualification
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Strong Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Attention to
Detail:
Accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in MS package (Word, Excel and Power Point). Ability to write and proofread reports.
Customer Service Skills:
Ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner. Typing speed around 40 to 60 WPM. Must be able to handle weights up to 25 pounds.
