Job Description

Office Manager/HR Coordinator Sigma Stretch Film Midland, GA 31820 Sigma Stretch Film has a new manufacturing plant in Midland, GA . We currently have approximately 20 employees and expect to grow to 80+ in the coming year. We are seeking a proactive and organized Office Manager/HR Coordinator to support a broad range of administrative, human resources, and facility management functions. This multi-faceted role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering a positive work environment. The position reports directly to the onsite Plant Manager and supports the Corporate HR Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:

Conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires, including benefits explanation and policy review. Manage timekeeping, review records, and submit bi-weekly payroll accurately through the Paychex portal. Coordinate employee leave processes including FMLA, Disability, and Workers’ Compensation. Conduct and maintain up-to-date safety and harassment compliance training using our established Safety Program. Support employee relations and morale-building efforts. Investigate and assist in resolving workplace concerns or conflicts. Maintain confidential employee records (personal, payroll, training, and attendance).

Office Management & Facility Support:

Research and evaluate local vendors for operational and facility-related projects. Schedule and coordinate vendor repairs and oversee project timelines to ensure timely completion. Order and track parts and supplies for office and maintenance needs. Escort vendors through the facility and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Check, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.

Accounts Payable:

Receive and organize vendor invoices by category. Scan and upload invoices into the AP system; communicate with corporate AP as needed. Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.

Administrative & Clerical Duties:

Answer phones, file documents, draft reports, and perform general office support tasks. Adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple responsibilities with efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish) – Must be proficient in both verbal and written communication. Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Familiarity with HR laws and best practices is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Paychex or similar payroll/timekeeping systems preferred.

Full-time Pay:

$19.00 – $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
